Back again, from the cyber-dead. Bill sounds like he needs my blathering drivel back in his life, and this is a service I am only too happy to provide. 8.8 miles were covered in about 90 minutes this morning, which is neither good nor bad. I find that, as the weather gets warmer, I my Saturday excursions seem more like "active attempts to dehydrate myself" than actual "runs." Today I stopped sweating somewhere in Mile 7, which is never a good sign. And then I got a really sharp pain in my ass, and I can imagine how interesting that is to everybody.

Pro beach volleyball is back on TV now, and I'm quite impressed. 2-on-2 volleyball is hard in a gym with perfect footing and no wind, and almost impossibly hard on sand. I'd bet most people don't realize this, especially since most people cheat at volleyball anyway, which is a shame. I have a sudden desire to watch "Top Gun" right now.

"What's your problem, Kazanski?"
"You're everyone's problem. That's because every time you go up in the air, you're un-safe. I don't like you because you're dangerous."
"THAT'S RIGHT! Ice....man. I am dangerous."
